The label field

The label field is a special kind of field that can be used in the layout editor. The field type is text and can be enriched with HTML and placeholders.

Adding a label field to the document page layout

Please take the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click on Layouts
  3. Open on an existing Document Page Layout
  4. From the Library select and drag a Label into the header field section.
  5. By clicking the Pencil icon, you can edit the properties.
Property Description
Label The title of the label field.
Value A text field that has a WYSIWYG input editor. Here you can use HTML and expressions
Display only if If the condition evaluates to true, the background color is applied. Here you can use expressions.
Hide Label Set to true, the title of the label field is hidden.
Hide Read Only Indication Set to true, the background hatch and top and bottom borders are hidden.
